The following members were pi -sent: Mayor Schneider, _nun_ilmPmhers Crain, Sick, Vacilinu and 7itur The following members were absent: nnna CoUncilmemher Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 118 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - TYRELL 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Hans Hagen Homes requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Tyrell 2nd Addition, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Tyrell 2nd Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on February 24, 1986 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should beat be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
