HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-114CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 24th_ day of February , 1986. The following members were present: The foll%wing members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 114 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 566 ROBERT MIDDLEMIST 4TH ADDITION WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on January 24, 1986 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: Robert Middlemist 4th Addition by the iastallation of storm sever and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inep,•ction; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 17th day of March, 1966 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roil. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly Eeconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneidpr� Ceunrilmamharsfrain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
