HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-113CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 24th of February , 1986. The following members were present: ayor SChnelder. Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur the City day The following members were absent: none *�kk ylr*,k dirilr�lr Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-113 RESOLUTION DELARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 566 ROBERT MIDDLEMIST 4TH ADDITION WHEREAS, a contract: has been let for the improvement of: Storm drainage within Robert Middlemist 4th Addition by the installation of storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $3,906.51 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $579.80 so the total coat of the improvement will be $4,486.31 and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $4,486.31. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
