Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 24th day of February , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Counc_ilmembers Crain. Sisk. Vasilinu and 7itisr me rotiowing members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 110 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR 1985 WEED ERADICATION AND DESTRUCTION CHARGES, ROLL 3 AND 4 WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of Section 18.271 M.S.A., the Weed Inspector of the City of Plymouth has caused the destruction and eradication of noxious weeds on certain lands within said City, and a determination has been made that certain charges thereto have not been paid as provided by law, and the total amount if $813.46; WHEREAS, the Finance Department has invoiced said parcels and received no payment on these invoice as of January 31, 1986; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $813.46. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Weed Inspector, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement gainst every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. A hearing shall be held on the 7th day of April, 1986 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such assessment will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessments. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider.
