HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-073CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rpnular meeting of the City Council of . the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the _lrd day of Fphrnar�x9 19x& The following members were present: Maynrr Srh_pidpr_ Cni►nrilmpmhor; Crain, Sisk, Vasil inij and 7itnr The following members were absent: none Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-73 APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR JOHN WALDRON FOR ELWELL, MILEY, AND QUINN ADDITION (85127) WHEREAS, John Waldron has requested approval for a Preliminary Plat for the creation of three commercial lots located northeast of Empire and Harbor Lanes North; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Preliminary Plat for John Waldron for Elwell, Miley, and Quinn Addition located northeast of Empire and Harbor Lanes North, subject to the following conditions: P1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Removal of all dead or dying trees from the property at the owner's expense. 3. No Building Permits shall be issued until a Contract has been awarded for sewer and water. 4. Provisions for a 12 ft. wide trail easement, a 50 ft. wide trail easement and a 20 ft. wide trail easement per Comprehensive Park Plan, as verified by the Parks and Engineering Departments, with submittal of detailed plans as to construction of the trail per City standards at the time of site plan review and issuance of Building Permit(s). 5. Payment of park dedication fees -in -lieu of dedication with appropriate credits in an amount determined according to paving costs and according to the Dedica- tion Policy in effect at the time of issuance of Building Permit(s). 6. Street names shall comply with the City Street Naming System. 7. Compliance with Policy Resolution No. 79-80 regarding minimum floor elevations for new structures in subdivisions adjacent to, or containing any open storm water drainage facility. PLEASE SEE PAGE TWO Page two Resolution No. 86-73 08. No Building Permits sh,U be issued until the Final Plat is filed and recorded with Hennepin County. 9. No yard setback variances are granted or implied. 10. Access shall be limited to internal public roads and restricted from I-494. 11. Site Plan applications shall respond to Special Protection Districts for Shoreland and Flood Plain provisions as stated in the Zoning Ordinance. No variances are granted or implied. 12. Site Plan applications shall include correspondence from Northern States Power Company (NSP) confirming proposed development within easements to the NSP Company is approved. 13. Resolution No. 78-37 is hereby rescinded. The notion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Council,member Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: ayor, c Rider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasi_liou_ and Zitur • The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
