HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-066CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rg9ular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of _ Fehruar-v-, 1986. The following members were present: The following members were absent: nnnP Cnunr_ilmpmhPr Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-66 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS ON THE COMMON LOT LINE OF LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 2, FERNDALE NORTH ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of the utility and drainage easements on the common lot line of Lots 2 and 3, Block 2, Ferndale North Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on February 3, 1986 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of February 3, 1986; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on February 3, 1986 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of utility and drainage easements on the cocoon lot line of Lots 2 and 3, Block 2, Ferndale North Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements are not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following utility and drainage easements be vacated: The easterly six feet except the northerly ten feet and the Southerly ten feet of Lot 3, Block 2, Ferndale North and, the Westerly six feet except the Northerly ten feet and the Southerly ten feet of Lot 2, Block 2, Ferndale North. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Counilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
