HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-065CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of February , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk. Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-65 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF STREET EASEMENT IN TRACT C, R.L.S. 831 (FUTURE CARLSON CENTER 6TH ADDITION) WHEREAS, the street right-of-way is no longer needed for the public purposes which it was originally required; AND, WHEREAS, the land is now excess to City needs; and AND, WHEREAS, the following is a description of the requested vacation: LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PARCEL: Tract C., R.L.S. 831 LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT TO BE VACATED: Easement for road purposes over the Southerly 33 feet; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, Minnesota: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of February 24, 1986 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain. Sisk. Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
