Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the '27th day
40 of January,�, 1986. The following members were present:
Mayor Schniider, Councilmembers.Crain. Sisk and Vaailini,
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-C2
DECLARING SURPLUS PROPERTY AND
AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE TO ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNER
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has obtained ownership of a parcel of land for a
storm water drainage pond; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire additional area for the pond from the
property owner adjacent to said parcel; and
WHEREAS, the property owner is requesting said parcel and the City has reached
an agreement with this property owner for the necessary easements and
right-of-way for the pond on their property; and
WHEREAS, as part of this agreement the City would convey this parcel to the
property owner after retaining easements for the pond on the parcel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
. PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following described property is declared surplus
property and the Mayor and City Manager is authorized to execute a quit claim
deed conveying this property to Eric E. and Marilyn J. Foss:
Outlot A, Schmidt Lake West Addition
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor 5chneidpr_ Cnijnrilmnmhcrs Crain
Sisk and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: nnnp
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
