HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-047CITY OF PL1MouTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 131h day of January 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schne7 er, rnlincilmembers Crain, Sisk and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 47 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING WAGES AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR PLYMOUTH MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES FOR THE YEARS 1986-88 WHEREAS, Plymouth park and public works maintenance employees are no 16nger represented by a labor union organizatioi; and WHEREAS, maintenance employees have requested that the City continue to meet and confer with them in an attempt to establish wages and conditions of employment for 1986 and beyond; and WHEREAS, in a memorandum dated January 10, 1986, the City Manager has outlined the terms of an agreement for establishing wages and conditions of employment for the years 1986-1988. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve the 1986-1998 Wage and Condition of Employment Agreement between the City and Public Works and Park Maintenance Employees; and further that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute said agreement. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolutior was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor t ereoMayor c neider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: gone Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passe and adopte
