HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-040CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _ special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of January , 1986. The following members were presenter yor Schneider, ounc members Crain, Sisk and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none COuncilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 40 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF STREET EASEMENT IN TRACT C, R.L.S. 831 (FUTURE CARLSON CENTER 6TH ADDITION) WHEREAS, the street right-of-way is no longer needed for the public purposes which it was originally required; and AND, WHEREAS, the land is now excess to City needs; and AND, WHEREAS, the following is a description of the requested vacation: LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PARCEL: Tract C., R.L.S. 831 LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT TO BE VACATED: Easement for road purposes over the Southerly 33 feet; and • WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, Minnesota: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of February 3, 1986 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3600 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the . following votedfavor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
