HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-039CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota vas held on the 13th day of Januar , 1986. The following members were present: May0r 3-cTinelder, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk and Vasiliou The following members were absent: non Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 39 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND SILVERTHORNE ADDITION (82052) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated September 12, 1983, Raymond L. Laurent and Jeanne A. Laurent, developer of Silverthorne Addition (82052), h -is agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM Street Construction Sanitary Sever Watermain Storm Sever Boulevard Sod Pond or Ditch Construction Street Signs Street Sweeping and Storm Sever Cleaning Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Site Grading 6 Drainage Improvements Park and Trail Improvements Design, Administration, Inspection, As -Built* TOTAL ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Public Private Public Private $ 43,950 $ 31,000 $ 11,520 $ 19,200 26,295 84,057 -0- 12,100 44,068 48,518 -0- 16,300 12,000 24,875 -0- -0- -0- 12,400 -0- 10,000 -0- -0- -0- -0- 300 -0- 300 -0- 2,500 -0- 2,500 -0- 2,000 -0- 2,000 -0- -0- 59,500 -0- -0- 5,225 -0- 523 -0- 16,361 31,242 2,021 6,912 $152,699 $291,592 $18,864 $64,512 That the letter of credit required be reduced from $42,521 to $18,864 to reflect the completed work for the public improvements, and from $95,816 to $64,512 to reflect the completed work for the private improvements. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by COuncilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the • following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain, Sisk and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared dully passed and adopted.
