HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-035Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of Januar , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor, c nei er, ounc�lmembers Crain, Sisk and Vasiliou The following memberb were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 35 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND CHIPPEWA TRAILS 3RD ADDITION (A-498) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated March 2, 1984, Kuechle Construction Co., developer of Chippewa Trails 3rd Addition (A-498), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Street Construction $22,845 $ -0- Sanitary Sewer 24,960 -0- Watermain 13,500 -0- Storm Sewer 4,420 -0- Boulevard Sod 2,000 1,200 Pond or Ditch Construction 500 -0- Street Signs 150 -0- Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning 1,000 500 Park and Trail Improvements -0- -0- Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan 500 500 Site Grading 5,630 -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 9,061 -0- 0 TOTAL $ 84,566 $ 2,200 That the letter of credit required be reduced from $10,304 to $1,200 to reflect the completed work. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the street construction and concrete curb and gutter is accepted as of January 13, 1985 for continual maiatonanc• subject to the one year guarantee by the developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilwambers Crain,, Sisk and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
