Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reyujar meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of jan4drX 1 1986.
The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers 1sc an gain—
he following members were absent: Councilmember Vasi lou
_Mayor Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-32
APPOINTING Bob Zitur AS COUNCILMEMBER
FORT TERM EXPIR N D CEMBE 31, 1987
WHEREAS, Councitmember Virgil Schneider has resigned from the City Council to assume
the office of Mayor, and the City Council has declared his seat to be vacant
effective January 6, 1986; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Schneider's term would have expired December 31, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has invited citizens of Plymouth to express their interest
in being considered to fill the remaining two years of Councilmember Schneider's
unexpired term; and
WHEREAS, the City Council received four interest forms from citizens who were
interviewed on December 30, 1985;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
that Bob Zitur be and the same is herehy appointed to the Plymouth City
Council to complete the unexpired term of Councilmember Virgil Schneider, which
appointmc,t shall be effective January 6, 1986.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: -Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Sisk and Crain

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopt- .
