HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-029i • CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 86-29 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO CLASSIFY CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED NORTH OF COUNTY ROAD 9; GENERALLY WEST OF COUNTY ROAD 18 FRONTAGE ROAD TO B-1 (OFFICE LIMITED BUSINESS) DISTRICT Section 1. Amendment of Ordinance. Ordinance 80-9 of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, adopted June 15, 1980 as amended, is hereby amended by changing the classification on the City of Plymouth Zoning Map with respect to the hereinafter described property: That part of the West 1/4 of the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 13, Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, described as fol- lows: Beginning at a point on the East line of the West 1/4 of the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 distant 513.94 feet North from the South line of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4; thence West at right angles with said East line a dis- tance of 165 feet; thence South parallel with the said East line of a distance of 525.22 feet more or less to the Northerly right-of-way line of Rockford Road; thence Easterly along said Northerly right-of-way line a distance of 165.09 feet more or less to the East line of the West 1/4 of the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4; thence North along said East line to point of beginning, which lies Northerly of a line drawn parallel with and distant 30 feet Northerly of the following described line: Beginning at the southeast corner of Section 12, Township 118, Range 22; thence North along the East line of said section a distance of 610.18 feet; thence West at an angle of 90 degrees a distance of 180.5 feet; thence deflect left at an angle of 90 degrees and run South parallel with the East line Of said Section 12 for a distance of 171.48 feet; thence deflect right along a tangential curve having a radius of 3819.72 feet (delta angle 3 degrees 48 minutes 50 seconds) a distance of 254. 26 feet; thence tangent to said curve a distance of 246.33 feet; thence deflect right along a tangential curve having a radius of 954.93 feet (delta angle 34 degrees 18 minutes 34 seconds a distance of 571.82 feet; thence tangent to said curve a distance of 568.19 feet, to the a-,tual point of beginning of the line being described; thence deflect right along a tangential curve having a radius of 211.48 feet (delta angle 51 degrees 15 minutes 00 seconds) a distance of 189.16 feet; thence run Westerly tangent to said curve a distance of 741.24 feet, and there terminating. Section 2. General Development Plan. This Ordinance authorizes the development of said property only in accordance with File 86109 subject to the plan approvals. Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect upon adoption and publication. The following members were present: tla ynr crhnPiripr, .�uncilmembers Sisk Crain and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none COuncilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-29 RATIFYING SURETY AND BLANKET BONDS FOR CITY EMPLOYEES FOR 1986 WHEREAS, surety bonds for certain City employees and a generai bond covering all City employees are required for 1986; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that surety bonds insuring the integrity and honest performance of duties by the following named employees in the amounts set forth are hereby ratified and confirmed for the year 1986: City Manager $100,000 Finance Director 100,000 Assistant Finance Director 100,000 • Assessor 50,000 City Clerk 50,000 General bond covering all City employees 50,000 The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, CnimrilmemhPrt Sisk, Crain and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none ;,_• Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
