AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO FEE FOR SIGNS ERECTED ON SITES TO ANNOUNCE PROPOSED
DEVELOPMENT AND LAND USE ACTIONS; AMENDING SECTION 1015.23 OF THE CITY CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH HEREBY ORDAINS:
Section 1. Plymouth City Code, Subsection 1015.23, is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Subd. 5. Proposed development and land use action announcement sign fees. A fee
of 150.00 will be charged for the installation and removal
emova by the City of signs
announcing the following proposed developments and land use actions; this fee
shall be in addition to the established planning app ication fee set forth in
Subd. 2 and subject to the refund provisions set forth in Subd 3 of this
Subsection:
(a) Signs shall be installed on all sites involving proposed amendments to the
Land Use Guide Plan Classification or to the Zoning Classification• applications
for approval of Planned Unit Development Concept Plans, Planned Unit Development
Preliminary Plat/Plans, and Preliminary Plats.
(b) Signs shall be provided on all non-residential sites which are within 500
lineal feet of any residential property and which are involved in an application
to the Planning Commission and City Council for a variance or for a conditional
use permit.
Section 2. This Oroinance shall be effective upon adoption and publication on
April 1, 1986.
