The following members were present: ollowing mem ers were absent: SChnoidar The *� Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 85-993 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING, - SWAN LAKE ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received requesting installation of residential street lighting for the Swan Lake Addition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of the Swan Lake Addition by the installation of residential street lighting, filed with the City Council on December 16, 1985 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is in- structed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising . the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improve- ment is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. .
