RESOLUTION NO. 85-936
AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has adopted the Park System Plan as part of its
total Comprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, in order to construct a part of said Park System, the following parcel
of land is required, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary, proper and in the interests of
the public health, convenience and general welfare of the citizens of the City
of Plymouth for the City to acquire said parcel,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City Attorney is hereby authorized to commence
condemnation proceedings for the following Aescribed parcel of land:
Description of Parcel (33-118-22-12-0003)
That part of Section 33, Township 118, Range. 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota,
described as commencing at a point in the northerly line of the railroad
right-of-way distant 100 feet west of 9; point in said northerly line of right-
of-way north 30° 50' west from a point 500 feet west of the east line of
Government Lot 2 and 956 feet north of the south line of Government Lot 2;
thence north at right angles 65 feet mare or less to the lake shore; thence
westerly along the lake shore to the west line of Government Lot 2; thence
south along the west line of Government Lot 2 to the north line of the railroad
right-of-way; thence east along said right-of-way line to the point of
beginning.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor t exec : Mayor Davenport, Councilmenbers
