HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-970CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of December , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, ounce mem ers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasilioii Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 970 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR RECYCLING PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is eligible to receive up to $6,852 for the Metropolitan Council as reimbursement for funds actually spent as part of a recycling program in 1985; and WHEREAS, it is proposed to spend these funds for the purchase of a building for a dropoff site, recycling containers and City staff time. IvOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the expenditure of funds up to $6,852 is authorized for a recycling program in 1985 from the Project Administration Fund (213-213). FUxTHER BE IT RESOLVED, that these funs are to be reimbursed to the Project Administration Fund from the reimbursement from the Metropolitan Council. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
