HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-967CITY08 PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reclular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of December , 1985. The following members dere present: WYor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The ollowzng members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 961 RESOLUTION FOR SUPPLEMENTAL HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 225 45TH - 46TH AVENUE WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on December 2, 1985 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: 45th -46th Avenue - between Nathar. Lane and Zachary Lane by the installation of sanitary sewer lateral, watermain lateral, and trunk facilities, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that suc"i proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A bearing shall be held on the 16th day of December, 1985 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall alae-, cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel decribed in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none , Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. dryr* *** ***
