HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-952Y _r CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of December , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 952 HIGHWAY 101 IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 413 STATE PROJECT NO. 2737-13 and 2737-15 WHEREAS, the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation has prepared a preliminary layout for the improvement of part of Trunk Highway No. 101 between County Road 6 and 700 feet north of Merrimac Lane; and WHEREAS, said improvement will provide a free right turn lane from southbound Highway 101 to westbound County Road 6 and extend the existing four lane facility on Highway 101 northerly through the Merrimac Lane intersection; and WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has requested the City of Plymouth to indicate its willingness to share in the cost of the project; and WHEREAS, said City's share of the estimated project cost is $9,500. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY TdE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City will participate in the cost of the project in an estimated amount of $9,500. The City's share of the cost will be allocated in the future from the MSA or Utility Trunk Fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote bein taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, ouncilma*ers (leils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
