HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-950CITY OF Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular� meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of December 1985. The following members were present: ayor Davenport, COUM]MemberS Neils. Schneider and Crain owing members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 950 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO 8 AND FINAL DUNKIRK LANE - STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 408 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Progressive Contractors, Inc., as contractor have entered into an agreement for the Dunkirk Lane Street Improve- ment Project, City Project No. 408, said agreement being dated July 23, 1984; and WHEREAS, the engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $1,593,448.64, four (4) change orders were approved in the amount of $51,864.32 and the value of the work to date is $1,738,943.82. '. That the work performed by the contractor for the Dunkirk Lane Street Improvement Project and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable be and the same is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all ligal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 8 and Final in the amount of $60,798.76 to Progressive Contractors, Inc. for the Dunkirk Lane Street Improvement Project is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: node Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
