Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of December 1985.
The following members were present: Mayor Davenport—COuncilmembers Neils,
Schneider and Crain
The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 944
APPROVING LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR HEW -LYNN, INC. FOR PROPERTY LOCATED
NORTHWEST OF BERKSHIRE LANE AND COUNTY ROAD 9 (85118)
WHEREAS, Hew -Lynn, Inc. has requested approval of reclassification of Land Use Guid-
ing for an approximate six acre parcel located northwest of Berkshire Lane and Count;
Road 9 from CL (limited business) desiqnation to LA -3 (high medium density resi-
dential) designation; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request following a duly
scheduled public hearing and has recommended approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the reclassification of land use
guiding for Hew -Lynn, Inc. for approximately six acres located northwest of Berkshire
Lane and County Road 9 from CL (limited business) to LA -3 (high medium density
residential) designation, subject to the following conditions; and,
FURTHER, Approval of the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment is contingent upon, and sub-
ject to the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council, and the Final
Plat/Plan which shall be approved by the City Council prior to finalization of the
Amendment.
1. Approval of the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment is contingent upon, and subject
to the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council, and the Final
Plat/Plan and Development Contract, which shall be approved by the City Council
prior to finalization of the Amendment.
7. A preliminary plat application shall address graphically and narratively the
benefits and potential of an area development for land Generally located east of
Fernbrook Lane, west of Berkshire Lane and north of County Road 9.
3. Approval of the Land Use Guide Plan is also contingent upon payment of fees for
the initial Building Permit or Permits within two years of the date of the
adoption of this Resolution.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils,
Schneider and Crain
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and a pted.
