Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a requiar meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of
November , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport,
rouncilmemhPrs Crain, Neils. Schneider & Vasiliou. The following members were
absent: none
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 934
RELEVY OF DEFERRED ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, in accordance with City policy certain parcels of homestead land were
assessed at a residential rate with the remainder of the assessment deferred at
the established rate; and
WHEREAS, the deferral was for a five year period which period expires at the
end of 1985; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City Council to determine the period of years
over which the deferred assessment is to be paid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the assessments listed below which were previously
deferred be respread for the period of years indicated:
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED, that the first instailme:-.t is payable on or before the
first Monday in January, 1986.
The motion far the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils,
Schneider & Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
