Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION No. 85-933
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - QUAIL RIDGE ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Dean Johnson requesting installation
of ornamental residential street lighting in the Quail Ridge Addition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF
PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certrin petition requesting the improvement of Quail Ridge
Addition Phase 2 b) the installation of residential ornamental
street lighting, filed with the City Council on November 18, 1985 is
hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of
property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance
to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 1002 of the affected property owners and
they have waived their rights to public improvement and special
assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is
instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible and as to whether it should beat be made as
proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils,
Schneider and Vasiliou
