HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-928CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day Of Nnvemher , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Cauncilmembers Crain. Neils. Schneider and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none CnunrilmPmhPr_Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: 2ESOLUTION NO. 85- 928 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND PLYMOUTH CREEK 2ND ADDITION (79006) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated April 14, 1983, Tipton Corporation, developer of Plymouth Creek 2nd Addition (79006), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Street Construction $ 95,370 $ -0- Sanitary Sewer 40,052 -0- Watermain 52,904 -0- Storm Sewer 10 19,825 -0- Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod 8,400 -0- Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs 300 -0- Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning 3,000 -0- Park and Trail Improvements -0- -0- Site Grading and Drainage Improvements -0- -0- Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan 1,500 -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 26,562 -0- TOTAL $247,913 5 -0- That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced from $121,598 to $0 (zero) to reflect the completed work. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the street construction and concrete curb and gutter is accepted as of November 18, 1985 for continual maintenance subject to the one year guarantee by the developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils, _SrhnPider and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
