HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-925Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of November , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport. Cnuncilmemhers Crain, Neils. Schneider and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-925 ACCEPTANCE OF UTILITIES CONSTRUCTED TO SERVE LOTS 1 - 5, BLOCK 1, SUBURBANDALE ON PARKER'S LAKE (85015) WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution No. 85-303 approving variance for Paul and Lois Hagemeister for two residences on two parcels which do not have required frontage on a public road west of Kingsview Lane, generally north of 13th Avenue north in Section 33, approval was granted subject to certain conditions; and WHEREAS, Condition No. 1 was compliance with City Engineer's memorandum; and WHEREAS, Condition No. 12A in said Engineer's memorandum required construction and acceptance of the extended public sanitary sewer and watermain and submission of a financial guarantee prior to issuance of a building permit; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed the construction of the public utilities as noted above; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested acceptance of the utilities by the City for maintenance and provided an $8,000 maintenance bond guaranteeing the completed work for a period of one year; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, !MINNESOTA: That the sanitary sewer and watermain facilities extended in conjunction with the development of Lots 1 - 5, Block 1, Suburbandale on Parker's Lake, are hereby accepted for continual maintenance by the City as of November 18, 1985 subject to the one year guarantee by Earl Day and Sons, Inc. The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
