HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-924CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 113th day of November 1985. The following members were present ayor Davenport, ounce mem er5 rain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou . The following members were absent: none Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-924 AWARDING BID FOR SALT STORAGE BUILDING WHEREAS, funds have been budgeted for the construction of a salt storage building in the 1985 budget; and WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statute bid specifications were prepared and distributed and bid proposals received and opened on November 13, 1985; and WHEREAS, the following bids were received: Demars and Touhey Construction $ 71,391 Seitz Builders 72,000 GEM Construction, Inc. 84,874 HMH Enterprises, Inc. 88,400 C.K.C. Construction, Inc. 91,781 Phillips -Klein Companies, Inc. 103,950 WHEREAS, the bid of Demars and Touhey Construction is in conformance with City specifications and is therefore declared the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that it should and hereby does accept the proposal of Demars and Touhey Construction in the amount of $71,391 and, further that funds for this construction are authorized from Account No. 101-172-921 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember .Veils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none 10 Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
