Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day
of November , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport,
Counci mem era eil�, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 904
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - MISSION TRAILS ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Lundgren Brothers Construction, Inc.
requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in Mission
Trails Addition:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
A certain petition requesting the improvement of Mission Trails Addition
by the installation of ornamental residential street lighting, filed with
the City Council on November 4, 1985 is hereby declared to be signed by
the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This
declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
4. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they
have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment
hearings.
The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in
a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and
as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with
some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recom-
mended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils,
Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
