Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its tion:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 894
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTRACT PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL
SER'ICES FOR FARKERS LAKE CITY PARK
:ER=AS, the Cit` of Plymouth irtends to develop the shoreline around
markers Lake for a city park, and
'o'HEREAS, federal and state grant money has been approved for said
construction, and
WHEREAS, the city's Capital Improvements Program calls for the
construction of Parkers Lake City Park, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission and the City
=ouncil have given approval to the master plan for Parkers Lake City
Park, and
4HEREAS, the firm of Brauer and Associates Ltd. has been selected to
do the design work for Parkers Lake City Park, and
WHEREAS, the contract proposal for providing professional services is
in line with normal fees and services for this type of work,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OP PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the contract proposal dated October 22,
1985, between the City of Plymouth and Brauer and Associates Ltd.
is hereby approved in the amount of $45.192 , and further,
the director of parks and recreation is authorized to proceed with
preparing a Phase I construction program for submittal to the Park
and Recreation Advisory Commission and City Council for approval.
The motion for the adaption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
