Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a S ecial meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 28th day of October 1985.
The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Counci mem ers
Schneider and Vasiliou

Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolut:on and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 887
RESOLUTION APPROVING A POLICY RELATING TO THE PROCEDURES FOR SALE
AND CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEIT LANDS
WHEREAS, annually the City of Plymouth receives a list of non -conservation lands from
Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County requests that the City Council determine whether such lands
are required for conveyance by the City for public purposes or approved for public or
private sale by the County; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of establishing a procedure for evaluatine
whether such parcels should be conveyed for public purposes or approved for sale; an,
WHEREAS, said policy should specifically define a mea, -4 by which outstanding special
assessments and taxes are paid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve a policy relating to the procedures
for sale and conveyance of tax forfeit lands dated November 21, 1985 as recommended
by the City auditors.

The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, tie
following voted In favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmember Schneider

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
