Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Snprial meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2tth day of
' DCtober , 1985. The following members were present:
Mayor Daver!iort. Councilmembers Schneider and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Councilmembers Crain: and Nails
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 886
DESIGNATING CONSULTANT FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF
HIGHWAY 55/FERNBROOR LANE
PROJECT NO. 604
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as part of the 1986 Capital Improvements Program
is proposing to improve the intersection of Highway 55/Fernbrook Lane by addi.ig
addit'onal turn lanes on Fernbrook Lane; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate a consulting engineeL_ng for this
project; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City policy relating to the selection of
consultants the Director of Public Works has made a recommendation from the
approved consulting firms;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH" CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. be designated as the
consultant for the Highway 55/Fernbrook Lane Intersection Improvement Project.
The motion for the adoption: of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayr_r Davenport, Councilmemher
Schneider and Vasiliou
The following voted against or ahstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
