HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-876CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of October , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Me -11s, Schneider and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-876 RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE LAND DISPOSITION AGREEMENT, CONTRACT NO. 20393, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAME WHEREAS, o,, September 7, 1982, the City of Plymouth entered into a land disposition agreement for the senior citizen housing site; and WHEREAS, the Land Disposition Agreement, Contract No. 20393, provide an initial three year period for completion of the project: and WHEREAS, the agreement also provided for a three year extension beginninq September 7, 1985 provided that the City of Plymouth could demonstrate that the project continued to be viable and feasible; and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority has received four proposals from consultants who desire to construct the senlrRr citizen project; and WHEREAS, a market study is currently underway by dames McComb and Associates, the purpose of which is to assist in the marketing of parcels in downtown Plymouth: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth. Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve Amendment No. 1 to the Land Disposition Agreement Contract No. 20393; and FURTHER, does hereby authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 in the name of the City. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, 'Veils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
