Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day
. of October , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport,
ounce mem ers Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
SWAN LAKE BIDS
PROJECT NO. 539
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Swan Lake
Highlands (the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 14,
Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County) by the installation of sanitary sewer,
watermain, storm sewer ani drainage facilities, and 7 ton bituminous street
with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, t,ids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bias were received complying with the advertisement:

AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Latour Construction of Maple Lake, Minnesota is
the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TUE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH:

1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
the attached contract with Latour Construction of Maple Lake, Minnesota
in the name of the City of Plymouth for the improvement of the Swan
Lake Highlands Addition, Project No. 539, according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in
the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits
of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following Voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils,
Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
