Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of October , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils. Schneider. Crain and Vasiliou • The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 797 LEVYING TAXES IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 6,059,972 WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the operating budgets for the period commencing January 1, 1986 and certain monies to finance said budgets are required to be raised from taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the following suss of money be raised by tax on taxable property in the City of Plymouth for the year 1986 as sat out in the adopted 1986 City budgets; General Purpose ....................06.0...9.. $ 4,740,331 TOTAL GENERAL PURPOSE $ 4,740,331 Special Levies: City Special Assessment .................... $ 305,508 Forestry ................................... 209,800 Housing and Redevelopment Authority........ 27,000 Storm Sewer Tax Dist. #1 - Bassett Creek... 256,348 Storm Sewer Tax Dist. #2 - Minnehahs Creek. 91,937 Storm Sewer Tax Dist. #3 - Elm Creek....... 4,345 Storm Sewer Tax Dist. #4 - Shingle Creek... 40,333 General Obligation Debt .................... 384,370 TOTAL SPECIAL LEVIES $ 1,319,641 TOTAL ALL LEVIES $ 6,059,972 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said tax levy be certified to the County Finance Director of Hennepin County on or before October 10, 1985. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain . and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Vasiliou Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ee*
