HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-796CITY I Os PLIMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of October 1985. The following members were present: layor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou . The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 796 ADOPTING 1986 OPERATING BUDGETS AND APPROVING THE 1987 OPERATING BUDGETS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed budgets as prepared by the City Manager for the fiscal years commencing January 1, 1986 and January 1, 1987; WHEREAS, this Council on September 16 conducted a public hearing on the proposed budgets and has further studied the budget during four public meetings, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the 1986 operating budgets for the various funds are hereby approved and adopted as follows: General Fund Budget $ 7,212,631 Recreation Fund Budget 356,000 Forestry Fund Budget 209,800 . Water Fund Budget 1,670,200 Sewer Fund Budget 2,505,300 Equipment Center Fund Budget 1,062,700 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council did consider and discuss for planning purposes the city budgets for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 1987 and does approve said budgets in concept for fiscal planning purposes as follows: General Fund Budget $ 8,311,000 Recreation Fund Budget 369,900 Forestry Fund Budget 216,300 Water Fund Budget 1,722,900 Sewer Fund Budget 2,829,300 Equipment Center Fund Budget 1,095,400 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council concurs in the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority budget in the amount of $ 503,500. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Vasiliou Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. t
