The following members were present: tlayor Davenport, rnllnf i1mPmhPrs Crain_ Neils_ Schneider and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 794 ADOPTING ASSESSMENT 1985 DELINQUENT WATER SERVICE CHARGES AND SANITARY SEWER SERVICE CHARGES AND ANNUAL STREET LIGHT CHARGES WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments for delinquent water, sanitary sewer service charges and annual street light charges as provided for by the City Ordinances and has amended such proposed assessment as it deems just; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part thereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein and each tract of land herein included is hereby bound to be benefited by the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessments shall be payable over a period of one year. 3. Assessments may be paid in full to the City of Plymouth Finance Director by November 7, 1985 without additional charge. After November 7, 1985 a daily interest charge based on an annual rate of 9.36% starting on October 7, 1985 will be due in addition to the levied assessment. The last date a payment can be accepted by the City of Plymouth is November 15, 1985. After that date interest shall be added from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1986 and payment can only be made to Hennepin County with your 1986 property taxes. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over the same manner as other municipal taxes. 5. The total cost of the service charges assessed by this resolution are $112,285.55. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: tlayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils.
