Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day
of September , 1985. The following members were present:
Deputy Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain. Nails and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-764
REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND
GLEN ECHO PONDS (84008)
WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated May 30, 1984, Lyman
Lumber Company, Dennis D. Gonyea and Frances Ann Gonyea, developer of Glen Echo
Ponds (84008), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and
WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site
grading as noted below; and
WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect
the completed work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows:
That the letter of credit required be reduced from $35,931 to $12,096 to reflect
the completed work.
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED that the street construction and concrete curb and gutter
is accepted as of September 23, 1985 for continual maintenance subject to the one
year guarantee by the developer.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor `chneider, Councilmembers
'Crain Neils and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
