HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-735CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 23r4day Of September , 1985. The following members were present: rippla '" r The fo lowing members were absent: Mayor r1amenport *** Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 735 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS LOT 1 AND 2, BLOCK 1, MEDICINE LAKE INDUSTRIAL PARK WHEREAS, the petition to vacate certain utility easements in Lot 1 and 2, Block 1, Medicine Lake Industrial Park was received by the City Council; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for September 23, 1985 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of September 23, 1985; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on September 23, 1985 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said utility easements; and . WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said utility easements as described below are not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA as follows: That the following utility and drainage easements are hereby vacated: That part of the east 6.00 feet of Lot 2, Block 1, Medicine Lake Industrial Park lying south of the north 13.91 feet thereof. and 'hat part of the west 6.00 feet of Lot 1, block 1, Medicine Lake Industrial Park lying south of the north 6.00 feet thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
