Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of September 1985.
The following members were present: Mayor Davenport,Zo ncilmembers: Neils.
Vasiliou, Schneider and Crain
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved Its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 727
AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth was the grantee in a deed which erroneously conveyed
more property than the City purchased; and
WHEREAS, the City has no claim to such property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it in the best interest of the City of Plymouth to
reconvey said parcel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute a Quit
Claim Deed conveying the following described parcel to John M. Spaeth:
That part of the West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 20,
Township 118, Range 22, which lies North of the Northeasterly
right-of-way line of State Highway 55, subject to snow fence
easements and limitations on right of access as shown in
Instruments recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of
Hennepin County, Minnesota, In Book 1955 of Deeds on page 451
and In Book 2603 of Deeds on page 467.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, he
following voted In avor thereof; Mayor nport, Councilmembers: Neils,
Vasiliou, Schneider and Crain
The following voted against orabstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
