CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of
September , 1985. The following members were present• -Ra or70avenport,
Council members Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 704
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
SWAN LAKE ADDITION - PROJECT 539
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on July 15, 1985,
the City's Consulting Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates,
Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of the Swan
Lake Addition (The Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 14,
Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County) by the installation of sanitary sewer,
watermain, storm sewer and drainage facilities, and seven ton bituminous street
with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances, and has
presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifica-
tions. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by
the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 1985, at which
time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the
Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth,
Minnesota by the City Manager and the City Engineer and that no bids
will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such
bid.

The construction contract will not be awarded until the owners of the
Swan Lake Addition enter into a Developer's Agreement

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils,
Schneider. Crain and Vasiliou

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
