HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-686Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the day of Seetember , 1985. The following members were present: yor Davenport, Counciimemoer^ s Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none #r�k�Ar *iFk i*#r Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 686 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR AMHURST 3RD ADDITION - INTEREST ON DEFERRED PRINCIPAL WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolutin No. 83-448 adopted on the 12th of September, 1983, assessments for sewer and water lateral were deferred as per the agree- ment with the owners of Amhurst 3rd Addition at the established rate with interest of 8.38% being assessed each year to cover the debt service, and a determination has been made, as provided by law, and the total amount of such interest is in the amount of $443.92 and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such interest to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $443.92. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by lav, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote bei a taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, 1uncila hers keils, Schneider Crain and Vasiliou The following voted against or absta ned: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
