HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-680CITY OP PL'flIOI1TH' Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of September , 1985. The following members were present: Pa or Davenport, ounce mem ers Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none amt *,tet *,k,k Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- F":' RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR PROJECT N0. 504 47TH AVENUE ADJACENT TO TAMMIE MIDDLEMIST WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 47th Avenue from 49th Avenue to a point 1,000 feet west of 49th Avenue by the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain laterals, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurt- enances, and the contract price for such improvement is $130,856.53 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $27,061.27, so the total cost of the improvement will be $157,917.80 and of this cost the City will pay $10,200.25 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $147,717.55. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping and storage facilities and sanitary sewer trunk facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning. Water Area Residential $1,290.00 per acre Sanitary Sewer Area Residential $ 720.00 per acre 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, GounCilmembers Ael s, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Vhereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. � a� �
