CITY OF, PLYMOM
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
9th day of September , 19 85. The following members were
present:Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider, Crain b Vasiliou .
The following members were a sent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 85- 679
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 503
53RD AVENUE/NATHAN LANE/SCHERER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
AND ADJACENT AREA
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
53rd Avenue, west of the County Road 18 west frontage road and Nathan Lane
north of 53rd Avenue.
by the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain laterals, storm sewer,
bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurt-
enances, and the contract price for such improvement is $693,549.43 and
the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement
amount to $136,353.05, so the total cost of the improvement will be
$829,902.48, and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of
the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $829,902.48.
2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main,
pumping and storage facilities and sanitary sewer trunk facilities for
the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use
zoning.
Water Area Residential $1,290.00 per acre
Sanitary Sewer Area Residential $ 720.00 per acre
3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the
Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the
City Clerk for public inspection.
4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify
the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmenber Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils,
Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou
