HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-654CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a snerial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of September , 1985. The following members V Te present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasillou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 654 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS OLIVE LANE FROM COUNTY ROAD 6 TO 14TH AVENUE NORTH PROJECT NO. 542 WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 19th day of August, 1985, fixed a date for a Council Hearing on the proposed improvement of Olive Lane from County Road 6 to 14th Avenue by the installation of nine ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage improvements, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publi- cations of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the 9th day of September, 1985, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 10 PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted August 19, 1985. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates is hereby design- ated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3. The property owners agree to provide the City with a financial guarantee to cover the costs of preparing said final plans and specifications prior to the City authorizing the consultant to start the work. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasilicu The following voted against or abstained: Mayor Davenport Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
