HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-647CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Srnecial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 25th day of 1,u Gust 1%5 The follo%ing members were present:Nayor Davenport, Councilnenbers Crain, Schneider and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Councilnember ;deils Councilnenber Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 647 A RESOLUTION SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR 1986-87 CITY BUDGETS AND 1985-86 PROPOSED USE HEARING FOR FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FOR MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 1985 WHEREAS, in accordance with state statute, the City Council annually adopts various operating budgets; and WHEREAS, on an annual basis the City Council reviews the use of federal revenue sharing monies; and WHEREAS, the Council desires to receive information from the public relative to the proposed budgets, and revenue sharing expenditures; and WHEREAS, a public hearing is annually established for the purpose of obtaining such resident input; NON, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, that It should and hereby does establish Monday, September 16, 1985 at 7.30 por. as the public hearing date for public review and comment regarding the 1986-87 City Budgets and Federal Revenue Sharing Proposed Use for Entitlement Period 17 (October 1985 - October 1986); and ' FURTHER, does hereby direct the City Clerk to cause public notice of such hearings to be published 'n the City's official newspaper, the Plymouth Post. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilnenber S6,.nei6er , and upon vote being taken thereon, t e ?ollowing voted in favor thereof: flavor Davenport, Councilmenbers Crain, Schneider and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopte .
