HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-632CITY OF PLVNWTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a tai meeting of the City Council of the Ci�.y of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of August 1995. The following members were present: Nayor Davenport�ouncil■e■bers ider, Crain and Vasillou The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils Councilmember Schneider Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-632 DENYING FINAL PLAT FOR QUINWOOD COMMERCIAL PLAT FOR MENDOTA, INC. (84091) WHEREAS, Mendota, Inc., as requested approval for Final Plat for Quinwood Commercial Center, a plat consisting of four outlots located in the northwest quadrant of Bass Lake Road and Hemlock Lane; and, WHEREAS, the City has received correspondence from an attorney for the petitioner seeking to conditionalize the requirement for dedication of necessary public road right-of-way related to this plat; and, WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed that correspondence and has discussed the . matter with the petitioner's attorney and the Council has discussed the matter with the City Attorney and with the petitioner; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the Final Plat for Mendota, Inc. for Quinwood Commercial Center located in the northwest quadrant of Bass Lake Road and Hemlock Lane on the bases that the proposed Final Plat is not consistent with the approved Preliminary Plat or with the project proposal submitted on February 22, 1985, relative to dedication of necessary public road right-of-way. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider, Crain, and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
