HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-622CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day of August , 1985. The following members were present�r Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resilution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-622 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT OLIVE LANE FROM COUNTY ROAD 6 TO 14TH AVENUE - PROJECT NO. 542 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted June 17, 1985, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates with respect to the improvement of Olive Lane from County Road 6 to 14th Avenue by the instal- lation of 9 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage improvements, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances, and this report was received by the Council on August 19, 1985. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CI'.'Y COUNCIL OF TRZ CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting prwperty for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Miwsota gtatYtes Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as welded) sad the necessary and total cost of the improvement of $132,745 dollars. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 9th day of September, 1985 in the Council chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, at 7:30 p.m. and the Clerk shall girt mailed and published notices to such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the followingvoted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Schneider, Crain anVasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none , Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
