HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-616CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day . of August , 1985. The following members were present: yor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider. Crain and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-616 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF XENIUM LANE WITHIN THE WESTMINISTER ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Geoffrey and Jean Burton have petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following street right-of-way: That part of Xenium Lane platted within the Westminister Addition which lies between the north plat boundary; the northerly right-of-way of 30th Avenue as extended westerly to the northerly plat boundary; and the westerly line of Lot 1, Block 1 of said Westminister Addition. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of September 16, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by touncilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mavor DavenkQrt, Counrilmemhars Srhnoidgr. Crain and Vasiliou The following vote; against or abstained: none Whereupon the Rc-solution was declared duly passed and adopted.
