Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, as e�cialmeeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 12th day of August 1985.
The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils.
Schneider and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Councilmember Crain

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 612
AMENDING COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY ADOPTION OF REVISED GOALS, OBJECTIVES, AND CRITERIA,
ELEMENT
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan updated and adopted by the City Council in 1980
contains an Element known as the Goals, Objectives, and Criteria which were originally
established by the Plymouth City Council on February 7, 1972; and,
WHEREAS, since 1980, the City Council has directed the Planning Commission to review
and recommend revisions deemed necessary to assure that this basic Element of the
Comprehensive Plan is both current and meaningful to the community; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission have
reviewed the Goals, Objectives, and Criteria, and the Planning Commission following the
Public Hearing on July 24, 1985 has recommended approval of a revised Goals,
Objectives, and Criteria Element; and,
WHEREAS, the Council and the Commission viewed the recommended draft at a Joint Study
Meeting on July 29, 1985;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does Amend the City's Comprehensive Plan by
adopting the revised Goals, Objectives, and Criteria Element per the draft dated August
9, 1985;
FURTHER, be it hereby resolved that the copies of the adopted Element shall be
distributed to the Metropolitan Council and other agencies who have copies of the
City's Comprehensive Plan.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: ayor avenport, Councilmembers Neils,
Schneider and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
