HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-602CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of Au ust , 1985. The following members were present:a or Davenport, Counci mem ers eils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Councilmember Crain COuncilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 602 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND BASS LAKE WOODS ADDITION (84075) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated November 15, 1984, Bass Lake Woods Associates, developer of Bass Lake Woods Addition (84075) has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Street Construction $ 74,700 $60,500 Sanitary Sewer 66,000 -0- • Watermain 56,000 -0- Storm Sewer 74,000 -0- Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod 8,200 8,200 Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs 600 600 Site Grading and Drainage Improvements 48,200 4,820 Park and Trail Improvements -0- -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 39,324 8,894 TOTAL $367,024 $83,014 That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced from $367,024 to $83,014 to reflect the completed work. FURTHER RE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items per Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning Cash: $ 1,000 $ 1,000 Letter of Credit: $12,500 $12,500 Resolution NO, 85- 602 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer • construction is accepted as of August 12, 1985 for continual maintenance subject to the one year guarantee by the developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:ayor avenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. � �s
